What if…

your questions aren't problems to solve,
but invitations to a deeper journey?

What if your doubts are not failures of faith, but edges where grace is waiting to meet you?

I walk beside you, listening for the sacred within your unfolding story.

Welcome
A woman with glasses and short hair, wearing a yellow jacket and floral shirt, sitting outdoors on a wooden bench on a porch, holding a book with pink sticky notes. Behind her, a small table holds a stack of books, a mug, and a pen, with a background of fall foliage.

A lifelong evangelical, I had to walk away a decade ago when the God I knew didn’t match the god that was being preached.

Life didn’t fit into beautiful frames, with tidy answers.  It was messy. It spilled over. It was wildly unpredictable, and there was love bubbling up everywhere. The more questions I asked, the bigger God got, and the more expansive love turned out to be.

Large metallic lid with steam rising and rust around the edges, covering a cooking pot over an outdoor fire stove.

There is space here…

A large light gray circle, background is black.

as you desire to engage more deeply with the ordinary moments of your world.

A large beige-beige circular object with a bright yellow center resembling the moon or a planet.

as you seek the courage to invite honesty.

A dark gray circle covering the entire image.

as you find yourself on the edges.

A solid light gray circle with no additional details or objects.

when you long to recognize your place of belonging.

A solid beige circle with no additional details.

when you need to be heard and seen in your own story.

Dark teal sphere with no distinguishable objects or details.

as you hold your questions, unsure of what those questions might unleash.

  • In my time doing spiritual direction with Tamarah, I have felt seen, heard, guided, and loved. She helps me attune to my body and emotions. She listens well, reflects back what she hears, helps me dig deeper and ask better questions. She tells the truth and helps me find the truth as well. She lets me talk when I need to talk, and then she holds silence with me, praying me into God’s presence. I have experienced deeply profound moments with Jesus that I would not have experienced without her gentle leading and faithful presence. She has given me a safe place to grow in my intimacy with Christ, which allows me to pastor from joy and wholeness. She is a gift!

    REV. RACHEL GOUGH

  • I have known Tamarah for several years. In that time she has given me not only many valuable pieces of advice but also tools with which I can continue using as new situations arise. I’m most appreciative of her skill in prompting me to look at situations and events from other points of view and see how different conclusions could be drawn than I otherwise would have. I also appreciate how her vast literary knowledge enables her to draw parallels to things that I’m familiar with, which helps to quantify things in new ways. Tamarah also has a remarkable skill for balancing earnestness with humor that I find helps keep talking about even serious topics enjoyable.

    CHRISTOFER CURD | 23 years old, he/him

  • Tamarah has been a wonderful person to discuss faith with. She has gone through a long journey of deep introspection about her beliefs to reach the point she is at now, yet she remains incredibly open to discussing different perspectives. I come from a completely different background, but I’ve never felt any pressure to conform to her ideas. Even when our beliefs don’t align, she is still able to guide me toward resolutions that help me understand my faith more deeply. Tamarah is the first person I think of when I have a question about faith, and she is an absolute pleasure to talk to.

    ANDREW | 22 years old

  • Tamarah is an extraordinarily gifted spiritual director through her gentle presence and deep attentiveness. She guides group spiritual direction with a blend of spacious silence and discerning questions, inviting each voice to be fully heard. Tamarah’s practice of mirroring our own words back to us has become a cornerstone of my spiritual life, and I am so grateful to journey with her. If you seek a director who listens you into clarity, Tamarah is a gift.

REV. YVONNE AGDUYENG | she/her, Pastor

  • Tamarah fosters a space for my thoughts to be shared, articulated, and sifted through. Her questions push me to think deeper and strive for true honesty, encouraging mental positivity and emotional stability.
